Generator Installation Built for Safe Operation and Long-Term Reliability.
A good generator installation is not only placing a generator on site. It includes civil readiness, mechanical positioning, electrical integration, safety, control wiring, fuel handling, ventilation, exhaust, earthing, and commissioning preparation.

GMA PowerTech presents installation as structured field engineering — not guesswork. Every step is planned, checked, and documented before commissioning.
- 01
Site inspection and access confirmation: delivery route, crane/forklift access, room dimensions, ventilation path, foundation/base condition, drainage and safety clearances.
- 02
Technical planning: generator location, cable route, distribution tie-in, ATS/switchgear interface, fuel route, exhaust route, earthing point, and maintenance access.
- 03
Mechanical positioning: placement, leveling, anti-vibration mounts, alignment checks where applicable, canopy/container checks, and safe anchoring.
- 04
Auxiliary installation: exhaust system, silencer, flexible coupling, radiator or ventilation ducting, day tank, fuel piping, transfer pump, battery charger, and block heater.
- 05
Electrical installation: generator output cables, control wiring, ATS/AMF interface, neutral and earthing, battery wiring, metering circuits, and communications where required.
- 06
Quality checks: torque verification, insulation resistance test, polarity and phase sequence check, cable labeling, controller wiring check, and safety inspection.
- 07
Pre-commissioning handover: installation checklist, outstanding defect list, photos, test readings, and readiness statement for commissioning.
